C. Claire Law is a nationally recognized expert in international and domestic college admissions and financial aid. She is a practicing IEC (Independent Educational Consultant) and an IECA Professional Member. As a CEP (Certified Educational Planner) since 1999, she is committed to providing the highest quality of service to students and families. Prior to working in private practice, she worked in college admissions. She was the Director of International Admissions at Bryant University, Carleton University, and the Art Institute of Atlanta. She was the DSO (Designated School Official) authorized to issue the Form I-20 for international students. These experiences fueled her passion for helping students and parents become informed consumers of higher education. Her college guidance starts with assessing each student’s needs, interests, and capabilities. Then she helps parents understand their out-of-pocket costs depending on the colleges they choose. The goal is to include “affordability” in the college “fit.” As an instructor to other IECs, she teaches her tried-and-true college financial aid process, which she developed after working with families for decades. C. Claire Law is the co-authored “Find The Perfect College For You,” an analysis of MBTI© personality type in college, and “How to Control Your College Costs,” a step-by-step plan for students and families want to take control over the current college financial aid system. Claire is an expert on everything college and boarding school in the USA, Canada and the UK. See more at https://www.eduave.com.
